Key Responsibilities:

• Implement AI platforms (EnergyHub, FlexGen) for forecasting and load management.

• Configure IoT-enabled devices, smart meters, and sensors for real-time monitoring.

• Integrate EMS solutions (SolarEdge, Schneider EcoStruxure) for energy automation.

• Use analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) to deliver insights on performance and ROI.

• Maintain system security and compliance with Canadian data-protection standards.

Our Solar Installation Technicians bring solar systems to life. You’ll assemble, wire, and test PV and battery systems that power Alberta’s farms and greenhouses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and secure solar panels, inverters, and battery storage units.

• Conduct electrical connections per CSA standards and Alberta electrical codes.

• Perform functional testing and assist in system commissioning.

• Collaborate with engineers and drone teams for precise site layouts.

• Provide clients with basic IoT dashboard training.

As a Maintenance and Repair Technician, you’ll ensure that every PrairieSun solar system continues to deliver peak efficiency through proactive care and fast, expert repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, panel cleaning, inverter calibration, wiring checks.

• Use IoT diagnostics and drone thermal imaging to identify and fix faults.

• Conduct emergency repairs for weather-related or system failures.

• Maintain service logs and update client dashboards with performance data.

• Collaborate with AI/IoT teams for predictive maintenance alerts.

Our Operations Support Workers are vital to keeping every project running smoothly. You’ll support installation and maintenance crews with logistics, materials handling, and site readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project sites, unload equipment, and organize materials.

• Assist technicians during installation and cleanup.

• Transport tools and materials between project locations.

• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work environments.

As a Supply and Purchasing Specialist, you’ll manage procurement for PrairieSun’s solar equipment, ensuring the right materials arrive on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for solar panels, inverters, batteries, and drones.

• Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory.

• Use AI-driven forecasting tools to plan inventory based on project demand.

• Ensure all products meet CSA standards and Alberta electrical codes.

• Collaborate with logistics teams for efficient equipment delivery.

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will help grow PrairieSun’s client base through creative, data-driven marketing and relationship building. You’ll showcase the benefits of clean energy to Alberta’s agricultural community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new business leads among farms and agri-processing facilities.

• Develop marketing campaigns across digital, print, and trade-show platforms.

• Prepare tailored sales proposals, ROI models, and promotional content.

• Manage CRM data and track campaign performance with analytics tools.

• Collaborate with agricultural associations and municipal partners.
