As a Solar Design and Consulting Engineer, you’ll work directly with Alberta’s farmers and rural business owners to design solar PV and battery systems tailored to their operations. You’ll combine CAD design, AI-driven modeling, and drone-based LiDAR mapping to create energy solutions that maximize performance and ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct client consultations to evaluate energy usage, operational goals, and financial objectives.

    • Develop detailed solar PV and battery storage system designs using CAD and AI modeling.

    • Integrate IoT dashboards, EMS tools, and smart inverters in compliance with CSA and Alberta codes.

    • Prepare feasibility studies, ROI models, and AR visualizations for client proposals.

    • Manage documentation for permits, interconnections, and incentive programs.

Drone Operations and GIS Specialist

The Drone Operations and GIS Specialist will capture, process, and interpret high-precision aerial data to support solar system design and maintenance. Your work will guide the placement, efficiency, and compliance of every installation.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate drones with LiDAR, photogrammetry, and infrared sensors for land and shading surveys.

AI and IoT Systems Specialist

As an AI and IoT Systems Specialist, you’ll deploy and manage smart energy platforms that connect solar systems, sensors, and batteries into a seamless digital ecosystem. You’ll optimize system performance and data security through analytics and automation.
